Here is the March 19 update to the Covid-19 table. Quick post today. Testing out a new blog:
This is my first attempt at writing a blog. It contains all 5 emails distributed to date. Please check it out and let me know if it looks okay — or, more likely – where it needs improvement! I am continuing to work on it with the hope that it will work for disseminating Covid-19 information going forward.
As for today’s data, things are looking glum. In the table below we see that as of Thursday evening 19-March we are “ahead of schedule” by almost two days (yellow boxes). As discussed in previous posts this larger-than-expected increase is in all likelihood caused by increased testing. More tests = more confirmed cases. The good news — also expected — is the corresponding decrease in estimated fatality rate. Will keep you updated.
